Rental Terms & Conditions

Rental Requirements

1. Reservation
Please reserve a rental car by calling 089-770-8822 or 02-100-6365 to schedule the rental period. A THB 1,000 advance payment is required to confirm the reservation, to be transferred to Siam Commercial Bank, Account No. 162-2849-666.
In case of cancellation, the reservation fee is non-refundable, but it may be credited toward a future rental.

2. Photo Consent
The renter agrees to take a photo together with the rental vehicle. The photo will not be used or published unless prior consent is obtained from the renter.

Rental Conditions

1. Summer Forward Co., Ltd. (the “Lessor”) rents the vehicle specified in the rental agreement to the renter. The renter is responsible for all actions involving the vehicle during the rental period, including but not limited to traffic violations, legal offenses, and toll fees.

2. Fuel Policy
The rental price does not include fuel. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup.
If the fuel level is lower, the renter will be charged THB 400 per gauge mark plus a THB 200 refueling service fee
(For vehicles with engines of 1,600 cc or larger, the charge is THB 500 per gauge mark).

3. Mileage Limit
Mileage is limited to an average of 200 km per day (excess and short days may be averaged; interprovincial travel is allowed).
Excess mileage will be charged at THB 3 per km.

4. Insurance Coverage
The rental price includes complimentary vehicle insurance, covering:

• Damage to the rental vehicle up to THB 100,000

   

• Third-party property damage up to THB 1,000,000

   

The renter must place a security deposit of THB 3,000–5,000.

4.1 If there is no damage, or if the renter is solely not at fault (with an insurance claim report), the deposit will be refunded on the return date.

4.2 If damage occurs due to the renter’s fault or there is no third party involved, the renter is liable for damages up to the amount of the insurance deposit per accident. Except in cases of severe damage exceeding the stated insurance coverage or vehicle loss, the renter must be responsible for all damages exceeding such coverage.

5. Insurance Exclusions
Insurance coverage under Clause 4 does not apply in the following cases. The renter must bear all actual damages:

5.1 Damage to tires or glass
5.2 Accidents while driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or without a valid driver’s license
5.3 Damage to parts not specified in the insurance claim
5.4 Failure to submit the insurance claim immediately upon rental completion (the renter must also pay rental fees for days the vehicle cannot be repaired)
5.5 Presence of a third party but no insurance claim filed, and the third party later demands compensation

6. Smoking Prohibition
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rental vehicle. Violation will result in a THB 1,000 fine.

7. Cleanliness
If the vehicle requires special cleaning due to mud, asphalt, stains, spilled liquids, dirt, pet hair, or unpleasant odors, the renter will be charged THB 1,000–2,000.

8. Late Return

• Late return of 1.30–3 hours: charged half-day rental

   

• More than 3 hours: charged 1 full day

   

9. Late Pickup/Delivery
If the renter arrives late and causes staff to work overtime, an overtime fee of THB 80 per hour will apply (prior notice will be given).

10. Early Return
No refund will be given for early vehicle returns.

11. Flood Damage
If the vehicle is driven or parked in flooded areas causing water to enter the vehicle, a THB 3,000 cleaning fee will apply.
⚠️ If water enters the engine and causes damage, the renter must pay full repair costs as assessed by an authorized service center.

12. Contract Extension
To extend the rental, payment must be made by 11:59 PM on the day before the return date.
Failure to do so will result in contract termination unless approved by the lessor, a late payment penalty of THB 200 per night applies.

13. Termination by Lessor
The lessor reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time if the renter’s behavior is deemed inappropriate or dangerous.

14. Prohibited Acts
Violation will result in immediate contract termination, vehicle repossession without refund, no responsibility for personal belongings left in the vehicle, and a vehicle recovery fee starting from THB 5,000, plus the following charges (if applicable):

1. Outstanding rental fees until the vehicle is returned

    

2. Late payment penalty of THB 200 per night

    

3. Vehicle recovery travel expenses

    

14.1 Tampering with or stealing vehicle parts: Fine of 10 times the part’s value

14.2 Using the vehicle for illegal purposes or taking it to border areas or outside the country without written permission

14.3 Commercial use, subleasing, pawning, or racing: THB 50,000 fine
(Pawning the vehicle: fine equal to the vehicle’s value) and the renter is liable for all damages.

14.4 Failure to return the vehicle as specified in the rental contract, refusal to cooperate in returning the vehicle, or unable to contact the renter.

15. Charges & Complaints
All fees and penalties must be clearly stated in the rental agreement or return confirmation form.
