1.Summer Forward Co., Ltd. is the “Lessor” providing the vehicle specified in the rental agreement to the renter.
2.The rental price does not include fuel.
The renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when it was received.
Otherwise, the lessor will charge for the missing fuel at THB 300 per bar and an additional THB 200 refueling service fee.
(For vehicles with engine size 1,600 cc or higher, the charge is THB 400 per bar.)
3.The lessor limits the vehicle usage distance to an average of 200 kilometers per day.
(Some days may be more, some less; average use is acceptable, and driving to other provinces is allowed.)
If the mileage exceeds the limit, the lessor will charge THB 3 per kilometer for the excess distance.
4.The rental rate includes car insurance, providing the following coverage: Damage to the rented vehicle: up to THB 100,000. Damage to third-party property: up to THB 1,000,000. The renter is required to place a damage deposit of THB 3,000–5,000.
4.1 If no damage occurs or the renter is not at fault in an accident, the deposit will be refunded on the day the vehicle is returned.
4.2 If damage occurs and the renter is at fault or there is no other party involved, the renter shall be responsible for the damages up to the deposit amount per incident, except in cases of total loss or damage beyond the insurance coverage, in which case the renter must pay the difference.
4.3 If the accident occurs while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, or the driver does not hold a valid driver’s license, the renter must take full responsibility for all damages.
4.4 The insurance does not cover damage to tires or windows; in such cases, the renter must pay for the actual repair cost.
5. In case of an accident, the renter must report all damaged parts to the claim staff and ensure they are recorded in the claim form.
(If any damaged part is not listed in the claim form, the renter will be responsible for its repair cost.)
The renter must keep the claim form and hand it to the staff upon returning the car.
(If there is no claim form, the deposit cannot be refunded.)
6.Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rental vehicle.
A fine of THB 1,000 will be applied for any violation.
7.If the renter drives on muddy or tarred roads that cause the vehicle to become excessively dirty and require special cleaning or polishing, a special cleaning fee of THB 300–800 will be charged.
If liquids are spilled, or if vomiting occurs inside the car, or if there are stains, pet hair, or unpleasant odors, the renter will be charged a cleaning fee of THB 1,000–1,500 for upholstery, carpet, or ceiling washing.
8. If the renter returns the vehicle before the agreed return date, the company cannot refund any portion of the rental fee.
9. The lessor will contact the renter one day prior to the scheduled return date to confirm whether the vehicle will be returned or if the renter wishes to extend the rental period. If the renter chooses to extend the contract, payment for the rental extension must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on the day before the contract expires. If payment is not made within the specified time, a late payment fee of THB 200 per night will be charged. The lessor also reserves the right to decline the extension and proceed to collect the vehicle either on the original return date or later, as convenient for the lessor. (If the extension is declined, the lessor will notify the renter.) The renter shall be responsible for any applicable costs, including:
Outstanding rental fees (calculated from the end date of the original rental contract until the day the vehicle is returned),
Late payment penalties of THB 200 per night (counted from the first overdue night until the vehicle is received by the lessor),
Transportation costs incurred for retrieving the vehicle, and
In cases where the lessor cannot contact the renter or the renter fails to cooperate in returning the vehicle, the lessor has the right to recover the vehicle without being responsible for any personal belongings left inside.
A vehicle retrieval fee starting from THB 5,000 will be applied.
10. If the renter returns the vehicle 1 hour 30 minutes to 3 hours late, a half-day rental fee will be charged.
If the vehicle is returned more than 3 hours late, a full-day rental fee will be charged.
11.In the case of car delivery or pick-up, the company will schedule the time with the renter no later than 4:00 p.m. (or later in some service areas).
If the renter arrives later than the agreed time, an overtime fee of THB 80 per hour will be charged from the exceeded time.
(The company will inform the renter in advance if any overtime fee applies.)
12.It is strictly prohibited to swap, remove, or steal any parts of the rental vehicle.
Violation will result in a fine equal to 10 times the price of the missing or damaged part.
13.The renter must not use the rental vehicle for illegal activities.
The renter is fully responsible for any actions or offenses involving the vehicle during the rental period as specified in the agreement.
14.The renter is responsible for all traffic fines and violations incurred during the rental period.
The renter must pay all fines within 7 days from the date of being notified by the company.
15.The renter is not allowed to use the vehicle for commercial purposes, sublease, pawn, or participate in racing.
If the renter is found using the vehicle for any of the above, the renter shall pay a fine equal to the full value of the vehicle and be responsible for all damages resulting from such use.
16.If the renter drives through flooded areas or parks in a way that allows water to enter the vehicle, a cleaning fee of THB 3,000 will be charged.
⚠️ Warning: If water enters the engine and causes damage, the renter must pay for the actual repair cost as assessed by a certified service center.
17.All expenses or penalties must be clearly stated in the rental contract or the vehicle return confirmation form to prevent unreasonable charges.
If any staff member requests additional fees or fines not specified in the contract, or behaves inappropriately, or if the renter wishes to file a complaint, please contact 098-9696-366 immediately.
